Shining Light

Ok so in my last post I talked about how YOU control your light you shine, but speaking from experience I know that's not always easy. Its not like we have a switch to turn on and off. Well, I believe you can create one but that's for another post. Shining a brighter light can and will create a better reality for yourself but turning up the brightness can be very difficult, I know. What do you do when you feel there is no love in or around you? You have little or no love to give to others or yourself? You find gratitude. Which also can be very difficult on difficult days. On my really rough days I would start very small. I would find gratitude for waking up in the morning, for having shoes to put on, for having a roof over my head, for not falling down the stairs! I am very clumsy so...haha. I will admit that some days were too much and it was hard to find gratitude, however, I allowed myself a day here and there to just exist and I think that's ok. Its not ok to stay in that mindset very long though so you have to push yourself to "put your boots on" and try again. Everyday brings something new and you don't want to miss it. There is always something to be grateful for, big or small. Allow yourself to find just one thing everyday that you are grateful for and it can brighten your light and change your life.
